Sr. IT Systems Architect

Our leading Software Development client is seeking a Senior IT Systems Architect who can use their skills and experience to build a stable and efficient IT infrastructure. You will work in a high-growth tech company that is fully SaaS enabled for productivity apps, collaboration apps, and back-office apps. You will manage, implement, and secure a modern Cloud-technology stack. You must have 5 years or more experience as an Okta admin and Google Workspace admin along with experience managing IT systems using Jamf Pro and Windows Intune. Admin experience with Crowdstrike Falcon EDR and Cloudflare ZTNA is desired. The ideal candidate has extensive knowledge and experience managing a help desk for a geographically diverse workforce, and hands-on experience in the primary Cloud apps used by the company.

Job Duties:

• Ensure core IT systems are properly configured to ensure stability and security
• Build and administer essential IT operations policies, processes, and procedures
• Initiate, coordinate, and enforce policies and procedures that govern corporate IT usage company-wide
• Recommend and implement best practices to ensure smooth delivery and operation of IT services
• Identify vulnerabilities, needs for upgrades and other opportunities for improvement, as well as the continuous monitoring of systems
• Own internal projects that will optimize infrastructure and workflows
• Monitor that all systems are protected per company IT and security policies
• Monitor, analyze, and respond to threats identified by anti-virus/anti-malware endpoint protection systems
• Implement MDM best practices so as to ensure smooth and secure continued operations
• Work with the People Team in the coordination of onboarding and offboarding employees and contractors
• Maintain accurate inventory of laptops and other equipment issued to staff in all geographies
• Work with IT service provider on projects and ensure Help Desk responds quickly and accurately to IT support requests
• This role is responsible for help desk escalations
• Work across multiple geographies (US, Europe, Israel) to ensure staff and offices have proper IT systems and services

Requirements:

• Five to seven years of hands-on experience as a Senior IT Systems Architect using SaaS systems
• Must have hands-on administrator experience in core apps: Okta, Google Workspace, Jamf Pro, Microsoft 365, Crowdstrike
• Prior experience working with macOS (primarily) and Windows systems
• Strong analytical systems thinking combined with creative problem-solving skills
• Prior experience administering Okta and creating Okta Workflows for automation
• Prior experience with MDM and zero-touch deployment (JAMF Pro, MS Intune)
• Prior experience administering, owning, and understanding the interoperability of various SaaS systems (i.e., Okta, Atlassian, Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, Dropbox, etc.)
• Professional certifications for the Cloud apps used by the company
